Hawtree, who created a course that would thrill all kinds of players, from amateurs to experienced ones. The first holes require precision, with short distances, narrow fairways, slight doglegs, deep bunkers that protect the greens and century-old pine trees that surround the fairways. After Hole 12, the distances are longer and offer a more continental style, with wider fairways and larger greens.
The course has 5 par-5s, 9 par-4s and 4 par-3s, thus being one of Catalonia’s few par-73 courses. Two lakes come into play during the round. In Hole 8, the water appears after the second stroke and follows the fairway all the way to the green. In Hole 9, the player must avoid the lake to reach the fairway and reach a flat yet small green, surrounded by deep bunkers.
Throughout its 50 years of history, Golf de Pals has hosted numerous Spanish and international professional and amateur tournaments.

Its fantastic location allows players to enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Costa Brava. Surrounded by pine trees, cork trees, olive trees and two large artificial lakes (2,600 m3), this charming course combines quality and beauty to perfection.
Its design smoothed out the slopes so that it wouldn’t be tiring for players. It is, above all, an entertaining course thanks to the variety of its holes, demanding great precision and technique from players, especially when teeing off.
